Sketches of Salisbury Cathedral
A very strange week has just gone! I returned to Bournemouth (having moved away back in October, on the first leg of our 'Big Adventure' to Norwich, where we're relocating in the New Year). I've lived in Bournemouth for over twenty years, so to return as a visitor was a rather unsettling experience. Said goodbye to friends and retraced a few old stamping grounds.
I also spent a day in Salisbury, and several hours in the city's beautiful cathedral drawing the interior. I even braved getting the old watercolours out! A little piece of quiet therapy during a hectic and quite emotionally draining week!
